Infant's
IL State ratios allow me to care for up to three infants (0-30 months) with 2 toddlers (36-60) months, or 2 infants with 4 toddlers. Infants will only be placed to sleep in a pack n play with an approved fitted play yard sheet on their back without additional blankets/pillows. (swaddling only until signs of the ability to roll over). Offering baby led feeding schedules, sweet snuggles, tummy time and plenty of entertainment watching other kids. Plenty of baby toys, separate area to explore and avoid wobbly touchy toddlers. Parents responsible for Formula/breast milk, diapers, wipes & creams.
1-2 Yr Olds
Walking & talking... exploring their surroundings. We have plenty of toys, books, puzzles, music and crafts to help them keep their minds and bodies busy. They will learn to play and interact with friends, take turns, share and discover new and fun age appropriate toys. Reading many books to help them with their vocabulary. Discipline at this age is mainly redirection. Praise is given for making good choices. Napping will be required in the afternoons. Morning naps are typically phased out between 15-18 months however this can vary depending on the child. Lunch and a snacks will be provided. Parents will be responsible for diapers/wipes & creams.
Preschoolers (3-4)
I provide age appropriate toys play including but not limited to a kitchen w/food, magnatiles, lego's, puzzles, books, dolls, dress up clothes, balls, stepping stones, music, super hero's, cars. We will go outside with weather permits. Backyard is fenced in and we live on a cul-de-sac limiting traffic. Children are closely supervised at all times. Discipline will consist of warnings, redirects, in some cases a child will need to separate from the activity to calm themselves. Praise is freely given to encourage positive behavior. Many children are ready for Potty training at this age, and I will work with the families to accomplish this task. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
